Wednesday night, I was able to snag a free ticket to a rather nice event. My friend Kylie's sister's friend works for some company that had a benifit shindig (pays to have connections) and The Greg and I tagged along.
Playing, was a nostalgiac 90's favorite: Collective Soul.
I really like Collective Soul. Their self-titled second album was the first quote-unquote "ROCK ALBUM" I ever purchased. (For more info on that and other influences, check here ) I've always had a soft spot for them. They're like Boston of the 90's. The kind of stuff you feel like you shouldn't like, but it's just TOO...FRIGGIN'...GOOD! Some of their songs are among my fav's of all time. If you are unfamiliar with their stuff, check some of it out below. It was a good show, I thoroughly enjoyed.

There was also Frank Caliendo. You know Frank. He's the impressions guy that is all over tv. I wasn't sure how good he would be, but he was actually quite funny. I did chuckle mucho! Check him out here...much of these jokes were the exact ones he used on us too. His "routine" if you will. Good stuff.
Thanks, Ky, for hookin' us up. Fo rill.

That guy is funny! I like his Charles Barkley.
Well, I remember in Junior High some band played Shine in the assembly and I thought they were the best band known to man. They later called their band Callisto and then later Castle or something dumb like that.
My sisters neighbors friends dogwalkers boyfriends mom's hairdresser.
Why oh why don't I have sweet hook ups like you do? Good ol' Collective Soul. Nothing quite like a 90's flashback.
